Composition

• Telmisartan – 40 mg

Mechanism of Action

Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors, preventing vasoconstriction and reducing aldosterone secretion. This leads to relaxation of blood vessels and lowering of blood pressure.

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that inhibits calcium ion influx into vascular smooth muscle, resulting in vasodilation and improved blood flow.

Together, this combination provides enhanced blood pressure reduction through complementary mechanisms.
