Mechanism of Action

Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors, reducing vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion. This results in relaxation of blood vessels and lowering of blood pressure.

Metoprolol Succinate (ER) is a cardioselective beta-1 blocker that decreases heart rate, myocardial contractility, and cardiac output, thereby reducing blood pressure and cardiac workload.

Together, this combination offers comprehensive cardiovascular control by acting on both vascular resistance and heart function.
